HOW TO USE EXTRACT BODY IN SIEMENS NX (UG)

     EXTRACT  BODY :-

   

     Creates a new body by copying the original body by  face, set of faces or by a body.

USES:- Creates a multiple duplicate bodies in the same file.

How to uses the command.

First we need  body which we have to create other duplicate body.In this we have options to select faces adjacent faces,body faces and single face.

STEP :1

Create a body.

After creating a body open Extract body command.Here we have options to select face or body .

I am selecting the faces.And there is option in setting Hide original i.e., the original body will hide.

The original body will hide and the duplicate body is created.

NOTE;- In setting fix at current time stamp is that when we select that option it will fix at the current time and what ever the changes we have made after creating a duplicate body to the original body it will not change to the duplicate body.
